Former Chairman of Kaupthing Bank wanted by Interpol

Sigurdur Einarsson former Chairman of Kaupthing Bank wanted by Interpol.

Sigurdur Einarsson former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kaupthing Bank is wanted by Interpol RUV reports.  The Special Prosecutor requested last Friday that Sigurdur come to Iceland for questioning but Sigurdur has heeded the request.  In discussions with the Special Prosecutor Sigurdur has said that he is willing to come to Iceland on the condition that he is not arrested upon his arrival.   The Special Prosecutor has not been willing to discuss any conditions as Pressan has already reported.
